SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

Artist Angus McPherson will be creating an original and exclusive interactive experience at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Angus McPherson is a sculptor and a master propmaker who has been a fan of Creature Double Feature since he was a young boy watching GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN and other relevant movies which inspired him to create his own. Now after over 30 years in the film, theater and haunted attraction industries, he's bringing his own brand of art to our show—hopefully to inspire another generation. His showing will be a smattering of creepy, steampunk and outrageous props and sculptures. His two companies, WunderWerx and BoneDaddy Productions will be represented as well.

In addition, with his business partner, Shawn Macomber (of BoneDaddy Productions), he will be putting on a mini-haunt attraction titled HOTEL FAREWELL on the first floor of the Lodge. The attraction will be open from 11:30am until 6:00pm, bringing fright to all who enter!

Author John Michael Greer will be appearing at Creature Double Feature 4!

One of today's most widely respected authorities in the field of occultism and the unexplained, John Michael Greer is the author of more than fifty books as well as a weekly blog. A Freemason and a Golden Dawn initiate, he also served for twelve years as the Grand Archdruid of the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA). His books include Monsters: An Investigator's Guide to Magical Beings (Llewellyn, 2001), the award-winning New Encyclopedia of the Occult (Llewellyn, 2003), and The Secret of the Temple: Earth Energies, Sacred Geometry, and the Lost Keys of Freemasonry (Llewellyn, 2016). He lives in East Providence, RI with his wife Sara.

Dr. DeBaser's Room of Death mystery lock-in at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Can you enter Dr. DeBaser's Room of Death and survive?! This locked room challenge will run 4 times during the show – tickets are $20 per person with six players maximum per running. This is a family friendly event, but might be a little challenging to anyone under 16. You will have one hour to solve the complex mystery of the mad scientist, Dr. DeBaser… and it won't be easy!

Award-winning Cosplay guest CiaoBirdie will be appearing at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

CiaoBirdie is a New England-based cosplayer with a passion to create costumes, props, and accessories for fun, competition, and charitable causes. Her skills include sewing, armor making, thermoplastics, makeup, body paint, pattern-making, and photography; while also investing her free time volunteering with several local charity costuming groups, adding to her ever-growing list of future costumes.
CiaoBirdie will be fluttering throughout the Roundup as she photographs all of the excitement and action at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Artist Greg Moutafis will be appearing at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Greg Moutafis is an artist who works in a variety of media including cartooning, illustration, design, and painting. A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, Greg entered comics publishing with a Xeric Foundation Award for Indie Comic Artists, and has illustrated projects for a diverse group of publishers, agencies, and schools, in addition to years of commissioned work for private collectors. Clients have included Topps Trading Cards, Childrens Hospital Boston, Cengage Learning, and Mass. College of Pharmacy.
As a lifelong comic reader and admirer of classic art styles, Greg illustrates original stories and custom artwork of pop culture characters, new and old. He is also an active member of ComicArtFans.com and the New England art festival and gallery scene.

Bob Eggleton is an American science fiction, fantasy, and horror artist. Mr. Eggleton has been honored with the Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist eight times, first winning in 1994; and has also won the 2015 Rondo Award for Best Artist in Classic Horror. His drawing and paintings cover a wide range of science fiction, fantasy, and horror topics, depicting space ships, alien worlds and inhabitants, dragons, vampires, and other fantasy creatures. And his iconic kaiju artwork has appeared on numerous magazine and book covers such as the classic and legendary world's first monster magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland.

Author & Editor Phil Sawyer will be speaking at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Phil Sawyer was one of the original FantaCo kids. In 2007 Phil contacted owner Tom Skulan with his ideas to republish many of the classic FantaCo titles, including The Famous Monsters Chronicles (originally published in 1991). Phil, who was now a professional DJ and an actor in many independent films offered up thousands of hours of assistance in launching the titles. This an original FantaCo kid who hung around the store, became a valued member of the enterprise. Phil's invaluable assistance in launching the Famous Monsters Chronicles came in his multi-decade rolodex of personalities. He set up and conducted many interviews and got many people involved in the book. Phil is truly the father of the Famous Monsters Chronicles II as it would have never been done without his assistance.

Artist Daniel Kern will be appearing at Creature Double Feature Roundup 4!

Daniel's art derives from subconscious images that occur from periodic meditation. He achieves a phantasmal dream-like quality to the figures and places portrayed in his drawings. As a result of looking for inspiration internally, Daniel's work is influenced by nature, his sleep paralysis and accented with symbolism and themes that touch upon Jungian-style ideals. Daniel resides in a small quiet vacuum of space somewhere on the south shore of Massachusetts along with his girlfriend, two cats (Baxter and Bellatrix) and some fish.

T's Misfit Toys will be joining Mr. Clever as part of the panel Cosplaying the Villain: Without being a dick, along with cosplayers – Jillian Cipher, and The Vexing One.

T's Misfit Toys (a.k.a. Tim Wylie) is a Western Mass cosplayer who began his foray into costuming in 2013. He's always been intrigued by the so called "bad guys" because as he puts it, "They always have the cooler costumes."

T's Misfit Toys makes a lot of his own things but prefers to assemble his costumes from items he commissions, buys from stores or online.

He's also an active member of the 501st and loves the accurate detail of the costumes but is also known for his love of creating mashups.

Jillian Cipher grew up in Halloween Town (Salem), so has always loved costumes and cosplay but didn't discover she was a cosplayer until 2009. In her free time she juggles busting ghosts, testing portal chambers, or causing weirdmageddon. In real life she manages a sci-fi pizzeria.

Uncle Death (a.k.a. Re-Gor) is a horror TV host and creator of the podcasts Then Is Now and The East Meets The West, as well as his regular reviews "Cinema Enigmatico." Uncle Death has been kicked out of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and is now relegated to hosting movies—Uncle Death has been in hiding for several years but now emerges to once again impart his knowledge of horror films upon audiences everywhere as a TV horror host!

We are thrilled to announce that the Creature Double Feature Roundup returns this September 23, 2017! And this year's CDF Roundup promises to be bigger and better than ever!

CDF Roundup #4 will take place at the historic Ezekiel Bates Lodge in Attleboro, MA and will encompass all four spacious floors of the lodge where fans can enjoy an exciting day of amazing guests, exhibitors, and engaging panels, at CDF Roundup 4, Saturday, September 23 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Ezekiel Bates Lodge in Attleboro, MA.

All panel rooms have limited capacity and subject to available seating.

Harrassment

CDF Roundup believes in creating an environment where every attendee, exhibitor and staff member is treated with respect and dignity. Any act of bullying or harassment is not tolerated. If an attendee of any type is believed to be in violation of these rules, they will be asked to leave immediately without reimbursement of any kind.

Weapons/Props

We have a strict policy of checking weapons to ensure that they are only props. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who presents a public safety or security issue in our sole discretion.

The following items are forbidden at CDF Roundup:
  • All firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
  • Replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for real firearms)
  • Projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows, slingshots and water guns)
  • Metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, kunai, shuriken, swords, sword canes and switch blades)
  • Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
  • Mace and pepper spray
  • Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
  • Hard prop weapons (including props made of metal, fiberglass and glass)
We allow prop weapons if they are composed of foam or cardboard only. Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps. We allow prop bows if all arrows have soft tips.
PROFESSIONALS
CDF Roundup is pleased to offer industry professionals, and those in the related industries of film, television, animation, guilds, gaming, etc complimentary admission to CDF Roundup.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When is the convention?
CDF Roundup is being held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. Show hours are: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

How much are tickets?
Children age 10 and under are admitted for free with an adult admission (limit of 2 per adult please). Tickets are also available at the door - $10 per ticket.

Can I buy tickets on-site?
Yes, you can buy tickets on our website or at the door. Day-of ticket sales at the door will open at 11:00 am.

On-site ticket pricing: $10 per ticket.

Can I take pictures?
Generally, you can take photographs at CDF Roundup of the conventioneers and exhibits. However, please respect the privacy and ask before taking a picture of a celebrity, as some of them charge for their photo and autograph.

Where can I park and how do I get there?
There are parking lots located at the Ezekiel Bates Lodge and all around the area that are privately owned. Parking at the Ezekiel Bates Lodge is FREE.

What is the policy on cell phone usage?
We ask that you please be courteous and take any phone calls you may have outside. There should be no cell phone usage while you are at panels, events or in programming rooms.

Is there a dress code or restrictions?
Feel free to come dressed as you like, however it is important to remember that costumes should keep in mind the safety of others. If you are planning on taking a prop, please remember that you will need to have it cleared and approved before entering the hall. For specific restrictions please look above in our Weapons/Props section under CDF Roundup Policies.

Is there wi-fi available?
Sorry, wi-fi is not available at the Ezekiel Bates Lodge.

The CDF Roundup team is comprised of people who celebrate what they love. They put in countless hours to create the best experience they can for fans, guests and exhibitors alike.
